Vilpe Ross ventilation pole ø160mm, black

The Vilpe Ross ventilation shaft is a practical ventilation solution for crawl spaces, basements, and other below-ground areas, as well as for air supply to fireplaces and low-mounted machinery or ventilation systems.

The ventilation shaft is suitable for both air intake and air exhaust applications. Its semi-circular design is appreciated by both architects and building owners. Made from polypropylene (PP), the ventilation shaft provides effective protection against rainwater, as the outlet is positioned well above ground level. However, the risk of moisture ingress cannot be completely eliminated, as the system is not groundwater-tight. Any condensation that may form can drain away through openings located at the bottom of the bend section.

A complete set, consisting of a hood, extension piece, and bend section, is supplied in a single box.

Models 125 mm and 160 mm
The 125 mm and 160 mm models are suitable for crawl space, basement, and fireplace ventilation, as well as for smaller ventilation systems. The 160 mm model is also highly suitable for cooktop extraction systems and so-called downdraft kitchen extraction systems routed through a crawl space.

Note: For cooker hood extraction applications, it is recommended to install a 160 mm backdraft damper somewhere within the system to prevent unwanted airflow reversal (draughts).

The height of the ventilation shaft can easily be increased using 450 mm vertical extension pieces. These extensions can also be cut to size, allowing virtually any intermediate height to be achieved. A complete set includes one extension piece as standard, resulting in a standard height of approximately 1 metre. Additional extension pieces are available separately.

For connection to existing systems or cast-in pipes already located on the exterior side of a façade, customised renovation sets can be assembled.

Model 200 mm
The 200 mm model is designed for larger mechanical ventilation systems and is suitable for both air intake and air exhaust applications. This model is available only as a complete set in the following colours:
Dark Grey (RAL 7024), Light Grey (RAL 7038), Black (RAL 9005)
