Configure your own renovation set using the Vilpe Ross ventilation shaft components. The Vilpe Ross components are ideally suited for renovation projects where ventilation is required in crawl spaces, basements, and other below-ground areas.

For connection to existing systems or cast-in pipes that already terminate on the exterior side of the façade, you can create your own renovation configuration. An adapter is always required:

• Vilpe Ross adapter Ø125/110 for installation on pipes with an external diameter of Ø110 mm
• Vilpe Ross adapter Ø160 for installation on pipes with an external diameter of Ø160 mm

Then simply select a hood and extension piece in the appropriate size.

The length of the ventilation shaft can easily be increased using vertical extension pieces of 450 mm. These extensions can also be cut to length on site, allowing any intermediate size to be achieved. In some cases, an extension piece may not be required at all; this should be assessed based on the specific situation.

All components are available in six colours:

• Beige (RAL 1001)
• Dark Grey (RAL 7024)
• Light Grey (RAL 7038)
• Red (RAL 3009)
• White (RAL 9001)
• Black (RAL 9005)

The ventilation shaft is suitable for both air intake and air exhaust applications. Its semi-circular design is appreciated by both architects and property owners. Made from polypropylene (PP), the plastic ventilation shaft offers excellent protection against rainwater, as the outlet is positioned well above ground level.

Please note that the risk of moisture ingress cannot be completely eliminated. The system is not groundwater-tight, so provision should be made within the existing installation for the drainage of any moisture or condensation that may occur.

Important: When used for kitchen extractor ventilation, it is recommended to incorporate a 160 mm backdraft damper somewhere in the system to prevent unwanted airflow reversal (draughts).
