The TilVent stainless steel ventilation duct is an elegant ventilation solution for ventilating crawl spaces, basements, fireplaces, heat pumps, HRV systems, cooktop extraction, and other ventilation-required systems. The TilVent stainless steel ventilation duct is suitable for both air supply and exhaust. The matte stainless steel appearance appeals to both architects and building owners.

The TilVent stainless steel ventilation duct complete set consists of three components: a stackable 500mm duct, a cap with excellent rainwater protection, and a mesh module in the cap for animal prevention. The ventilation duct allows for good ventilation as it is positioned well above ground level. The system is designed for both new construction and renovation applications. It can be connected to a vertical channel located somewhere outdoors and is not bound to underlying structures, thus offering a lot of design freedom.

The TilVent stainless steel ventilation duct must be connected to a vertical pipe. In ventilation passages below ground level, it is important that condensation and any intrusive moisture are drained. Preferably through an opening in a bent piece or via a T-piece lying in a gravel pocket. The risk of incoming moisture cannot be completely ruled out with this system and is therefore not groundwater-proof. The length of the system is flexible because the duct is stackable and can be extended per lengthening by 500mm.

Pest prevention
If the ventilation duct is positioned in a wooded or animal-rich environment, there is a chance that unwanted intruders (mice, rats, and birds) might want to nest in the pipe. To prevent this, a stainless steel mesh module is included in the cap; this is small-animal mesh, not insect mesh. The mesh module is removable for cleaning if necessary.

Sizes and colors
The TilVent-160 stainless steel ventilation duct is particularly suitable for cooktop extraction in kitchens and basement ventilation. It is supplied as standard in matte stainless steel but can be supplied in color upon request.
