The T174 ventilation well is suitable for deep ground installation and for easy and flexible ventilation in the crawl space.
The ventilation well, also known as a wolf pit, is a plastic faceplate box with a completely open backside. 

The ventilation well can be supplied with a plastic, stainless steel, black or CorTen steel grille. The underside of the ventilation well is partially open so that rainwater remains on the front of the wall. The grille is attached with two supplied screws. The size of the possible pipe and the hole through the wall must be determined by the user. Often a hole of ø80mm is made. Optionally, the T080 renovation sleeve can be used in combination with this ventilation well to bridge a cavity, for example. In that case, a hole of ø82mm is recommended for proper placement of the sleeve.

In the case of a large height difference, it is possible to stack 2 or more T174 lightwell boxes using one grille. Reducing in size is also possible and easy to carry out.
The boxes are adjustable in height with an extension range of 280 - 410mm. It is also possible to place a pipe (max. 80 mm) in the underside of the lightwell.
