The distinctive rotating stainless steel roof ventilation cowl is a unique type of roof cap. This cowl is not a wind-driven ventilator or a fixed static roof cap, but an active element that rotates with the wind.
The weather vane function ensures that the cowl will always optimally position itself according to the wind direction. The shape of the cowl then causes a vortex, creating an extra large negative pressure above the ventilation duct. As a result, the draught in the ventilation duct will be significantly improved, ensuring optimal ventilation.
The application of the rotaing cowl is primarily for fireplace flues and ventilation ducts.
