Glazing blocks 100x26x8mm, grey (bag 100 pcs)
As the name "glazing block" or "window block" suggests, the blocks are necessary in window construction. Various sizes and thicknesses guarantee the right glazing block for every unevenness. The non-rotting or rusting material ensures many years of reliable performance. Glass must be correctly positioned in the window frame. This is important to keep moisture, wind, and noise out and to maintain a constant room temperature. However, cold and heat affect windows and frames. In heat, the materials expand, and in cold, they contract. This creates tensions that increase the risk of cracking the glass. Window blocks prevent the risk of glass breakage by creating a cavity between the pane and the frame, allowing the different materials space to function.
These glazing blocks are 20mm wide, with thicknesses from 1 to 6 mm.
For other width sizes, see elsewhere on our site or contact us.
The glazing blocks have no negative impact on other materials. The absence of fillers like styrene prevents the pane from "blinding" as a result of "plasticizer migration."
The blocks are equipped with vapor pressure compensation and can bear loads up to 500kg.
Test certificates are available.
But the practical plastic blocks can do much more!
They are ideal for aligning ceilings, floors, windowsills, terraces, or furniture.
